Sweet onions slowly cooked with garlic, vinegar, and sauces create a glossy, creamy condiment with the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savoury flavours. The smooth texture and rich onion taste make everything from burgers to fries instantly better.
2 tbsp butter 1 finely chopped sweet onion 2 minced garlic cloves 2 tbsp mayonnaise 1 tbsp tomato ketchup 1 tbsp white vinegar 1 tsp mustard sauce 1 tsp honey Salt to taste 2 tbsp water
Heat butter in a pan and cook chopped onions on a low flame until soft, glossy, and lightly golden.
Add garlic and sauté for a minute until fragrant without browning too much.
Mix ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, honey, salt, and water in a bowl until smooth.
Add the sauce mixture to the onions and cook for 2 minutes until slightly thick and creamy.
Cool the sauce completely before serving with burgers, wraps, sandwiches, or fries.
