Having a large dispenser filled with a red or white wine sangria not only becomes a decorative element in your holiday party, but also partially takes care of having to attend to multiple guests. Lush with seasonal fruit and infused with whole spices, this sangria recipe is a foolproof option.
750 ml red wine 3 tablespoons brown sugar ½ red apple, sliced ½ Malta orange, sliced ¼ cup brandy 1 stick cinnamon Ice cubes, for chilling
Combine the wine, brandy and brown sugar in a jug and whisk to blend.
Add the cinnamon stick, apple and orange slices before tipping in the ice cubes.
Avoid the ice by refrigerating it an hour prior to the guests arriving.
Ladle into or dispense in wine glasses and serve with additional sliced fruit.
