This red velvet cake is soft, moist, and layered with smooth cream cheese frosting. It’s a festive treat that looks beautiful on any table.
1½ cups flour 1 cup sugar ½ cup oil 1 cup buttermilk 2 tbsp cocoa powder 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp vinegar 1 tsp red food colour Cream cheese frosting
Preheat oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin.
Mix oil, sugar, buttermilk, vinegar, and red food colour in a bowl.
Add flour, cocoa, and baking powder, whisk until smooth.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, cool, and layer with cream cheese frosting.
