The naturally sweet fruit, litchi, one of the best fruits summer has to offer makes an impeccable ingredient for juicing. For a zero-preservative juice and artificial flavours, here’s a recipe to make litchi juice.
20-22 litchis 2-3 tbsp sugar 2 cups chilled water 1 tbsp lemon juice 6-8 mint leaves for garnish Ice cubes as required
Peel the litchi, remove the seed, and set aside the flesh.
Blend the fruit with a little water till you get a smooth puree. Add in some sugar to taste.
Stir in a squeeze of lemon juice and strain the juice if you don’t like pulp.
Pour the litchi juice into a glass. Garnish with mint leaves and serve cold.
