Homemade Lemon ORS: Best Drink For Dehydration During Summer

Homemade ORS drink made with water, salt, sugar, and lemon helps the body recover quickly from dehydration, heat exhaustion, and summer fatigue while feeling light, refreshing, and easy to sip throughout the day.

Ingredients

1 litre chilled water 6 teaspoons sugar ½ teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Step 1

Pour chilled water into a large jug or bottle for the drink base.

Step 2

Add sugar and salt to the water in the correct quantity for proper hydration balance.

Step 3

Stir continuously until the sugar and salt dissolve completely without settling at the bottom.

Step 4

Mix in fresh lemon juice for a refreshing flavour and added freshness.

Step 5

Serve immediately chilled and sip slowly throughout the day for hydration.
