Khus sharbat recipe blends vetiver syrup with cold water to create a pale green drink known for its grassy aroma and cooling character, often poured over ice during long summer afternoons.
3 tbsp khus syrup 1½ cups chilled water 1 tbsp soaked basil seeds (optional) Ice cubes as required
Pour chilled water into a tall glass or jug.
Add khus syrup and stir until the colour spreads evenly.
Mix the soaked basil seeds if you want a slightly textured drink.
Add ice cubes to chill the mixture further.
Serve immediately while the vetiver aroma is still fresh.
