Nothing can beat sitting with your loved ones over mouth-melting pie on a weekend. If you’re calling your friends or family this weekend, you must try making this rich chocolate cream pie at home.

Ingredients

For The Pie Crust Maida - 1.5 cups Butter - 1/2 cup Cold water - 4 tablespoons Pinch of salt For The Chocolate Filling Milk - 2.5 cups Egg yolks - 6 Butter - 6 tablespoons Powdered sugar - 1/3 cup Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons Chopped chocolate - 1 cup Vanilla extract - 1.5 teaspoons

Step 1

Start by making the pie crust by whisking flour, butter, cold water, and salt. Mix all the ingredients together till you get a consistent dough.

Step 2

Transfer the dough to a baking pan and bake for about fifteen minutes or till the time you see the crust turning golden brown.

nce the crust is ready, set it aside and prepare the chocolate filling by mixing milk, sugar, and cornstarch in a pan.

Then, whisk in egg yolks over medium heat till the mixture thickens.

Turn off the heat and add butter, chocolate, and vanilla extract till you get a smooth mixture.

Step 6

Pour the filling into the pie crust you just baked and refrigerate for at least three hours before serving.
