Holi 2026: Step-By-Step Thandai Bomb Recipe To Add A Burst Of Festive Joy

Thandai, as a beverage, has become an integral part of the Holi festival, and turning it into bite-sized bombs is a unique touch to the festival. Check this recipe out.

Ingredients

6- 7 tbsp of thandai masala paste 120ml of milk 2 tbsp sugar A pinch of green food colour, optional Fresh cream, as needed Vanilla cake pieces, cut into circles White chocolate, as needed Pink, yellow, and blue food colour, optional Foodpicks, as needed

Step 1

In a pan, add half a cup of the milk. Add the thandai paste.  Mix it well with some sugar.

Step 2

Cook it on a medium flame. Let it become thick. Remove 5-6 spoons of this thandai mixture into a separate bowl.

Step 3

Add the green food colour to the pan if you want. Add leftover milk. Mix it. Cook for 2 mins.

Step 4

Let it cool. Melt white chocolate in a double boiler method. Add the food colours to it. Gently create colourful strokes on the mould.

Step 5

Pour the chocolate into the mould. Let it sit in the fridge for 5-10 mins. Whip the cream in a bowl.

Step 6

Add the thandai paste to the cream. Mix. Take the chocolate spheres out. Add the cakes.

Step 7

Add thandai milk and cream. Enclose with another sphere. Thandai bombs are ready to serve!
