The festival of Holi, beyond the customary playing with colours, is incomplete without binging on the variety of sweets prepared. Add a twist to the sweetness of flavours with this thandai cupcake recipe!
⅔ cup of condensed milk ¼ cup caster sugar ⅓ cup unsalted butter ⅓ cup of milk 1.5 tbsp of thandai powder 1 cup all-purpose flour or maida ½ tbsp baking powder ½ tsp baking soda ½ cup heavy cream 1 tbsp thandai powder
In a large bowl, whisk together condensed milk and caster sugar. Add butter to the mixture. Mix thoroughly.
In a small bowl, mix milk and thandai powder. Make sure there are no lumps.
Add this to the large bowl of condensed milk mixture. Next, sift baking powder, all-purpose flour and baking soda into the bowl.
Whisk the ingredients together until you reach the desired consistency. Preheat the oven to 170 °C.
Grease the cupcake mould with butter or oil. Pour in the batter gently in each mould.

Once cupcakes are fluffy and golden, cool them. Pipe out the frosting on top of each cupcake. Serve thandai cupcakes for Holi!
