Tofu bhurji, every vegan’s go-to meal for a quick protein fix, is classic for a reason. Made with the usual kitchen ingredients and ready in under ten minutes, here’s how to whip up tofu bhurji.
200 grams tofu, crumbled 1 onion 1 green chilli 1 tomato 1-inch ginger 3-4 cloves garlic 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon garam masala Salt to taste 2 tbsp coriander leaves Oil for cooking
Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add the chopped onion, green chilli, ginger, and garlic. Sauté onions till golden brown.
Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and garam masala.
Mix in crumbled tofu and cook for a few minutes. Season with salt.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with a roti.
