Sattu drink is a traditional Indian cooler that deserves all the attention. Made with sattu ka atta, aka roasted Bengal gram flour, it boasts a high protein and fibre content. Here’s how to make it.
4 tbsp sattu 2 cups water 1 onion (optional) 1 green chilli 1 tbsp fresh coriander 1 tsp roasted cumin powder ½ tsp black salt Salt to taste 1 tsp lemon juice
Mix sattu with chilled water to get a lump-free consistency.
Finely chop the onion and green chilli and mix them into the drink.
Add coriander, roasted cumin powder, black salt, regular salt, and lemon juice.
Mix well and serve the sattu drink.
