Snacks don’t have to be high in calories. To make a protein-rich snack, you can whip up moong dal ki tikki. Instead of deep frying or shallow frying, you can even air fry the tikkis to make them guilt-free.
1 cup moong dal 1 onion 1-2 green chillies 1 inch of ginger 2-3 cloves garlic 1/4 cup coriander leaves 1/2 tsp cumin powder 1/2 tsp coriander powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp chaat masala 2 tbsp besan Salt to taste Oil for cooking
Rinse and soak moong dal for at least 3-4 hours.
Drain and grind it with green chillies, ginger, and garlic.
Mix in chopped onion, coriander, besan, and all the spices. Make patties with the mixture.
Shallow fry or air fry the tikkis as per your preference.
Once crispy, serve with a spicy chutney.
