Chilla is a healthy snack that is usually made with besan and your favourite vegetables. To make it even healthier, you can make moong dal chilla, which is a quick and guilt-free snack.
1 cup moong dal 2 teaspoons oil ½ teaspoon ajwain ½ teaspoon red chilli powder ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder ⅓ cup chopped onions ⅓ cup chopped tomatoes 1 green chilli 1 teaspoon grated ginger ½ cup chopped coriander leaves Salt to taste
Rinse and soak moong dal for at least 3-4 hours. Grind till smooth.
Take a large bowl and mix ground dal, ajwain, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and salt
Add chopped veggies, grated ginger, coriander leaves, and water for a consistent batter.
Heat a pan, pour a spoonful of batter, and cook both sides.
Repeat to make as many chillas as you want.
