Featuring a blend of lentils, adai dosa is known for its high protein content. If you want to add protein to your traditional plate of sambar dosa, follow these 5 steps to make yourself a crispy adai dosa.
½ cup rice ¼ cup chana dal ¼ cup urad dal ¼ cup toor dal ⅓ cup chopped onions ¼ cup chopped coriander leaves 2 teaspoons curry leaves 2 dried red chillies A pinch of hing Salt to taste Ghee for greasing
Rinse and soak the lentils and rice together for about 3-4 hours.
Grind the soaked lentils and rice with dried red chillies, salt, and hing. Ferment for 2-3 hours.
Add chopped onions, coriander leaves, and curry leaves to the batter, along with a little water.
Heat a pan, grease it with ghee, pour a spoonful of batter, and cook on both sides.
Serve hot with nariyal chutney and sambar.
