A healthy sandwich is a quick fix when you want something filling yet light. Made with fresh vegetables, whole wheat bread, and a touch of seasoning, this sandwich brings both taste and nutrition to your plate.

Ingredients

4 slices whole wheat or multigrain bread 1 cucumber (thinly sliced) 1 tomato (thinly sliced) ½ onion (thinly sliced) 4 lettuce leaves 2 tbsp hung curd or low-fat mayonnaise ½ tsp black pepper powder ½ tsp chaat masala Salt to taste

Step 1

Spread hung curd or mayonnaise evenly on the bread slices.

Step 2

Arrange cucumber, tomato, onion, and lettuce leaves.

Step 3

Sprinkle salt, black pepper, and chaat masala. Cover with another slice of bread and cut into halves.

Step 4

Serve with potato wedges as a light lunch or evening snack.
