Healthy Ragi Halwa Recipe For Weight-Conscious Sweet Lovers

 Ragi or finger millet is one of the most popular millets of India. In fact, in certain states like Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Along with being healthy, ragi can be used in many different recipes. This ragi halwa recipe is very popular among those who are looking to aim for a goal weight or are really athletic.

Ingredients

1½ cups ragi flour 3 cups of water 1½ cups of jaggery 1 tbsp cardamom powder ½ cup ghee ½ cup raisins ½ cup cashews

Step 1

In a bowl, take some ragi flour and water. Whisk it well. 

Step 2

Pour the mixture into a hot pan and stir constantly.

Step 3

Add jaggery and mix it until the jaggery melts.

Step 4

Now, add cardamom powder and cook for another 2-3 minutes while stirring it.

Step 5

Add ghee and cook for 3-4 minutes.  Finally, add raisins and cashews.

Step 6

Mix everything well, and your ragi halwa is ready to be eaten!
