Made with the goodness of anar aka pomegranate, these fruity breakfast recipes are rich in taste and nutrition. They are so easy that even an anari (amateur) can make them.
For the uninitiated, pancakes are round and fluffy roundels made with a thick batter. Top it with a lemon sauce and some red pomegranate arils for flavour.
The crunchy waffles are made with a thick batter of oatmeal and cooked in a waffle maker. They are doused in honey and a sprinkle of pomegranate arils.
This is an Indori specialty, where the breakfast staple poha is made with flattened rice, mixed with fennel seeds and topped with pomegranate. Add a dash of lime juice to finish.
The crispy egg and milk-soaked French toast is tossed on a pan. Once it attains the desired crunch, the toast is doused in sweet pomegranate sauce.
This French dessert is a yummy breakfast treat too. Layered with cinnamon yoghurt, pecans and apple cider caramel, there are hints of apples and pomegranate in it too.
