A tortilla wrap can become a balanced high-protein meal when filled with lean protein, fresh vegetables and a light spread. This type of wrap works well for quick lunches or post-workout meals because it combines protein, fibre and healthy fats. Whole wheat tortillas add complex carbohydrates while ingredients like chicken or paneer provide sustained energy. The wrap is also easy to customise depending on dietary preference.
2 whole wheat tortillas 1 cup grilled chicken or paneer cubes ½ cup lettuce or spinach ¼ cup sliced bell peppers 2 tbsp yogurt or hummus Salt and black pepper
Warm the tortillas slightly in a pan so they become soft and flexible.
Spread yogurt or hummus across the centre of each tortilla.
Add grilled chicken or paneer along with lettuce and bell peppers.
Season lightly with salt and pepper and roll the tortilla tightly into a wrap.
Slice and serve immediately or pack for meal prep.
