Rice kanji is among the best dishes to consume for breakfast if you often experience digestion-related issues. It is gut-friendly and promotes the growth of good bacteria that work to keep the digestive system healthy and running smoothly.
2 cups rice 1 cup water ½ cup curd 1 chopped onion Salt to taste 2 dry red chillies 2 tbsp coriander leaves 1 chopped green chilli 1 tsp mustard seeds 5-6 curry leaves 1 tbsp mustard oil
Soak cooked rice overnight in an earthen pot.
In the morning, add curd, salt, onion, and green chillies.
Stir the ingredients.
Prepare the tempering of mustard seeds, mustard oil, curry leaves, and red chillies.
Pour the tempering over kanji.
Enjoy this healthy and cold dish in the morning.
