Gujarati Methi Pakoda You Must Try This Rainy Season

Methi pakoda, also known as Methi na Gota or Methi Bhajia is a traditional Gujarati snack. If you are looking for tea-time snacks to enjoy this monsoon season, try this easy recipe of methi pakoda.

Ingredients

1 cup besan ¾ cup chopped methi ¼ cup chopped dhania 1 tsp chopped green chillies ¼ tsp haldi ¼ tsp hing A pinch of baking soda Salt to taste Oil for deep-frying

Step 1

Mix besan, haldi, hing, salt, and baking soda. Add chopped methi, dhania, and green chillies.

Step 2

Make a smooth batter by adding water. Let it rest for 20-30 minutes.

Step 3

Heat some oil. Deep fry small portions to make pakodas till they are crispy.

Step 4

Take them out, drain excess oil, and serve with your favourite chutney.
