Murmura, aka puffed rice mixed with gud, makes a sweet, guilt-free treat to snack on between meals. For people with a sweet tooth, this recipe cuts down on refined sugar, and you can whip up murmura ladoo.
3 cups murmura 1/2 cup grated jaggery 4 tablespoons water 1 teaspoon ghee
Dry roast murmura for about a minute to give them a crispier texture.
Take a pan and heat some ghee. Add grated jaggery and stir till you get a syrup.
Turn off the heat and add roasted murmura to the syrup. Coat well.
Take small portions of the mixture, shape them into balls, and enjoy.
