Easy palak paneer recipe pairs finely blended spinach with soft paneer cubes, cooked slowly with garlic and spices to create a smooth, well-balanced gravy that tastes clean, rich, and distinctly green without overpowering the paneer.

Ingredients

2 cups washed spinach leaves 200 g cubed paneer 1 tbsp oil 1 tsp finely chopped garlic 1 finely chopped onion ½ tsp garam masala Salt to taste Water as required

Step 1

Blanch spinach for a short duration, then cool immediately and blend into a fine, lump-free puree.

Step 2

Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic and onions until soft and slightly translucent.

Step 3

Add spinach puree and salt, cooking gently to remove any raw taste.

Step 4

Add paneer cubes and garam masala, stirring carefully so the cubes stay intact.

Step 5

Simmer for a few minutes until the gravy thickens slightly and coats the paneer well.
