Green moong dal chilla is a healthy Indian pancake that is both quick and easy to make. Most homes have moong dal, which is now popular because it is high in protein and has a light taste. This chilla is like a cross between a dosa and a roti. The sides are crispy, but the inside is soft and dense.
1 cup soaked green moong dal 1 green chilli, chopped 1 small onion, finely chopped Salt, to taste Oil, for cooking
Soak moong dal and use a little water to grind it into a smooth batter.
Mix well after adding the onion, pepper, and salt.
Melt some butter in a nonstick pan and swrl it around to coat the surface.
Spread a little batter out on the pan and cook it until both sides are brown.
The chilla tastes great when served warm with mint sauce or curd.
