How often do you stare at the pack of pav buns after finishing the last serving of bhaji? Well, don’t just get to making fresh bhaji just to end up in the same loop. Turn the leftover pavs into tasty evening snacks.
With mashed potatoes, chutneys, roasted peanuts, and sev, you can turn pavs into the dabeli, the iconic Gujarati street food.
Pavs work just as well as a pizza base. Slit open pavs, spread some pizza sauce, add toppings, and cheese, and bake till the cheese melts.
If you have little time, slit open the pav puns, toast them, and spread butter and mixed fruit generously. Roll them, and pair with your tea or coffee.
Instead of buying garlic bread, you can make bruschetta using leftover pavs. With just olive oil, garlic, tomatoes, basil, and chilli flakes, your snack will be ready.
You can turn your leftover pav into the Mumbai street snack, vada pav with chutneys, deep-fried aloo vada, and green chillies.
