Mutton keema is a flavorful, spicy dish made with minced mutton in many Indian kitchens. It is often served with rice, roti or anything you like.
500g minced mutton 2 onions, chopped 2 tomatoes, chopped 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste ½ tsp cumin seeds 1-inch cinnamon stick 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder ½ cup green peas 1 potato, diced Salt to taste Mustard oil, for cooking
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, cloves, and cinnamon. Add chopped onions, peas and potatoes. Saauté until golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste, minced mutton, and cook until the mutton is browned.
Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt.
Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the spices are well combined. Add water and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the mutton is cooked through.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti. You can adjust the spice level according to your preference.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat the curry before serving.
