Yellow Moong Dal Dosa, also known as Pesarattu, is a South Indian healthy and protein-packed alternative to traditional rice or rawa-based dosas. It is gluten-free and perfect for breakfast or a light and healthy meal.
1 cup yellow moong dal (soaked for 3-4 hours) 2 tablespoons rice flour 1-2 Green chillies 1 ginger 1 teaspoon cumin seeds Salt to taste Water (to adjust batter consistency) Oil or ghee for cooking
Blend the soaked moong dal, green chillies, ginger, cumin and salt into a smooth batter, add water for desired consistency.
Grease the pan with oil and heat it.
Pour the batter into a pan and spread it in a circular motion.
Drizzle oil/ghee around the edges and cook until it turns golden on the outside.
Serve with South Indian chutneys!
