Ragi idli is a gluten-free preparation offering you a chance to load up on many essential nutrients. These fluffy rice cakes are often paired with sambar or coconut chutney, making them taste extra delicious.
1 tsp methi seeds ½ cup urad dal 1.5 cups ragi ½ tsp salt
Soak urad dal and methi seeds in water for at least 5 hours.
Rinse ragi and soak it in another bowl for 5 hours.
Drain excess water and grind the ingredients separately. Blend the pastes together.
Let the dough ferment for 8-14 hours. Stir the batter and keep it aside.
Grease the idli moulds and pour ragi idli batter into them.
After cooking for 15-20 minutes, idlis will be ready for consumption.
