Gluten-Free Pasta Recipe That Home Chefs Must Try

If you are allergic to gluten, wheat, or maida, then wheat-based or maida-based pastas are not good for you. Does that mean you can never enjoy the symphony of flavour that cheese, fresh herbs, creamy base, and chewy pasta created in the mouth? You can if you make gluten-free pasta at home.

Ingredients

1 tap xanthan gum 200g gluten-free flour ½ tbsp olive oil 3 medium eggs

Step 1

Whisk xanthan gum and gluten-free flour together in a bowl.

Step 2

Break eggs in a bowl and whisk them until you have a smooth blend.

Step 3

Gradually drop the whisked eggs into the flour and knead a soft dough.

Step 4

Let the dough rest for a bit before you roll it. Fold it and pass it through the pasta machine.

Step 5

Roll again and pass again. Cut the sides to make a perfect rectangle and pass it again through the machines.

Step 6

Dust the strip with dry flour, fold it, and cut into narrower strips. Boil the pasta and toss in the sauce before serving.
