Gluten-free pasta has become more popular in India with increasing awareness about dietary needs. These five options are easy to cook and pair well with Indian flavours.
Boil rice-based pasta and toss with garlic, ginger, and colourful vegetables. Add a splash of soy sauce or schezwan chutney for flavour.
Use store-bought ragi or jowar pasta and serve with a light coconut milk curry tempered with mustard seeds, curry leaves, and green chilli.
Chickpea flour pasta is high in protein. Toss with a chutney-style pesto made from coriander, mint, garlic, and peanuts.
Boil quinoa pasta and toss with lightly sautéed paneer, capsicum, and a pinch of chaat masala for a warm, filling dish.
Cook corn pasta and mix with a sauce made from slow-cooked tomatoes, onion, garlic, and Indian spices like jeera and garam masala.
