These gluten-free biscuits are light, crisp, and comforting, made for guilt-free snacking. With a delicate crunch and buttery warmth, they prove simple ingredients can still deliver bakery-style joy at home.
1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour ½ cup powdered sugar ½ cup softened butter ¼ tsp baking powder 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 tbsp milk
Start by creaming the butter and powdered sugar together until pale, smooth, and fluffy, as this creates the biscuit’s tender texture.
Add vanilla extract and mix again, allowing the aroma to blend evenly into the butter mixture.
In a separate bowl, combine gluten-free flour and baking powder, then gradually fold them into the butter mixture.
Add milk little by little and form a soft, manageable dough without overworking it.
Shape biscuits, place on a lined tray, and bake at 180°C for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden and crisp.
