Gluten-Free Besan Ka Chilla For A Quick Breakfast

Besan ka chilla is a quick and nutritious Indian breakfast or a snack made with gram flour, packed with fresh vegetables, spices and herbs. Easy to prepare and loved by all, it's best enjoyed with chutneys and yoghurt.

Ingredients

1 cup besan (gram flour) ¾ cup water ¼ cup chopped onion ¼ cup chopped tomato 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves 1-2 finely chopped green chillies ¼ tsp carom seeds ¼ tsp turmeric powder ½ tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste Oil as needed (for cooking)

Step 1

Mix besan, water, onion, tomato, coriander, green chillies, carom seeds, turmeric, red chilli powder, and salt to form a smooth batter without lumps.

Step 2

Grease a non-stick pan, lightly with oil, and heat on medium flame.

Step 3

Pour batter onto the pan and spread it evenly, drizzle oil around the edges.

Step 4

Enjoy chilla with mint chutney, ketchup or curd.
