Ginger Tea Recipe: Warm And Soothing Homemade Brew

Ginger tea is a comforting, healthy drink made by boiling fresh ginger in water. It’s warming, refreshing, and helps soothe the throat and aid digestion.

Ingredients

2 cups water 1-inch piece ginger (crushed) 1 tsp tea leaves or 1 tea bag 1 tsp honey or sugar A slice of lemon (optional)

Step 1

Boil water and add crushed ginger.

Step 2

Simmer for 5–7 minutes to infuse the flavour.

Step 3

Add tea leaves, boil for another minute, then strain.

Step 4

Stir in honey and lemon, and serve hot.
