Made with desi ghee, whole wheat flour, and a generous amount of dry fruits, atta halwa is a rich Punjabi dessert that is known for its simplicity and satisfying taste. Follow these 4 steps to make atte ka halwa.
1 cup atta 1/2 cup ghee 1 cup sugar 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder 1/2 cup water Chopped nuts for garnish
Heat some ghee and add atta. Roast till golden brown and fragrant.
Add sugar and stir well. Gradually mix water and mix till it thickens.
Once the water is absorbed, add the cardamom powder. Turn off the heat.
Garnish with chopped nuts and serve hot.
