Green juice is best kept simple and raw. Using seasonal vegetables and fruit keeps flavours balanced and avoids the need for sweeteners. This version focuses on hydration and freshness rather than heaviness.
1 cucumber 1 green apple 1 cup spinach leaves 1 celery stalk ½ inch ginger Juice of ½ lemon
Wash and roughly chop all ingredients.
Blend with a little water until completely smooth.
Strain through a fine sieve or muslin cloth.
Stir in lemon juice and drink immediately.
