The winter season in Punjab is always filled with pinnis. No matter where you are in the world, you can make gajar ki pinniya, just like your grandmother. Follow this authentic recipe and make the winter treat.
500 grams grated carrots 200 grams ghee 200 grams sugar 1 teaspoon cardamom powder 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Heat some ghee and add grated carrots. Cook till carrots are soft.
Add sugar and cardamom powder until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens.
Mix in chopped nuts. Once well combined, remove the heat.
Shape the mixture into balls and serve.
