Give your usual fruit salad a creamy, dessert-like makeover by adding condensed milk to it. Toss some fresh seasonal fruits with this easy condensed milk recipe, chill it well and serve cold for a quick and easy-to-make treat that does not involve any elaborate cooking.
1 apple, chopped 1 banana, sliced 1 cup papaya, chopped ½ cup grapes, halved ½ cup pomegranate seeds ½ cup condensed milk ¼ tsp cardamom powder 1 tbsp chopped nuts
Wash the fruits to use thoroughly, then chop them into similar-sized pieces so that every spoon has a balanced mix.
In a deep bowl, put the chopped fruits, pour in the chilled condensed milk and add a pinch of cardamom powder to it.
With the help of a spoon, gently toss the fruits so that everything gets mixed evenly and coated with the condensed milk.
Add chopped almonds, cashews or walnuts to get a crunch in every bite that contrasts the creamy fruit mixture beautifully.
Refrigerate the fruit salad for about half an hour, then serve chilled for a creamy, refreshing dessert.
