Fruit-based desserts are chef’s kiss. A fruit custard during the winter months is a great choice of desserts if you have people over. This is an easy step-by-step guide you can follow.
2 cups of full-fat milk 2 tablespoons of corn flour ½ teaspoon of vanilla essence 1 large apple, chopped 2 bananas, chopped 250 grams of grapes 200 grams of strawberries 1 large pomegranate Sugar to taste
Put all the fruits in one bowl. Keep it in the fridge to cool.
Take a small bowl,pour 4 tablespoons of milk. Set it aside. Heat the remaining milk in a pot.
Add corn flour and vanilla extract to another bowl. Pour in the 4 tablespoons of milk and keep stirring to avoid lumps.
Add this mixture to the boiled milk. Keep stirring to avoid any lumps. Cook on a low flame until it thickens.
Add sugar. Let it cook. Keep stirring gently until it coats the back of the ladle/spoon. Remove from heat.
Let it cool for a few hours. Add the fruits and custard in layers one by one. Serve fruit custard.
