Hosting a Friendship Day 2026 gathering calls for interactive food and drink setups that let guests customise their beverages. A DIY spritz station is an effortless yet sophisticated way to entertain a crowd. Setting out chilled prosecco, sparkling water, colourful fruit syrups or bittersweet aperitifs, and fresh herbs allows everyone to mix their ideal bubbly glass. It keeps the host out of the kitchen and creates a natural focal point for conversation throughout the party.
1 bottle chilled prosecco or sparkling white wine 1 litre chilled soda water or sparkling mineral water 200ml Aperol, Campari, or non-alcoholic fruit syrups (such as elderflower or passionfruit) 1 cup fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries) 1 orange, thinly sliced into half-wheels Fresh mint leaves and basil sprigs Ice cubes
Set up a dedicated table with a bucket filled with ice to keep the bottles of prosecco and soda water cold.
Arrange wine glasses or highball glasses alongside small bowls filled with fresh berries, orange slices, and fresh herb sprigs.
Place a card with a simple assembly ratio for your guests, such as three parts prosecco, two parts aperitif or syrup, and one part soda water.
Let guests fill their glasses with ice, choose their liquid combination, and garnish their custom drinks with fresh fruit and herbs.
