Fresh Beetroot Juice: Easy Fibre Drink For Daily Health

 Beetroot juice is an easy, homemade drink that is bright, earthy and refreshing. It can be blended fresh in minutes and gives a vibrant start to the day.

Ingredients

2 medium beetroot, peeled and chopped 1 medium carrot, chopped 1 small apple, chopped 1 inch of ginger 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 cup chilled water Ice cubes as needed Honey (optional), 1 teaspoon

Step 1

Wash, peel and chop the beetroot, carrot and apple into small pieces so that they blend fast and give the juice a smooth texture.

Step 2

Take a blender and put beetroot, carrot, apple and ginger into it and add water. Blend everything.

Step 3

Blend for one to two minutes until the mixture turns deep, rich in colour, thick and also smooth with no visible chunks.

Step 4

Pour the juice through a fine sieve or muslin cloth if you prefer a much clearer consistency.

Step 5

Add lemon juice and honey, if you like and mix everything well to balance the earthy sweetness of the drink with a fresh, bright tang.

Step 6

Pour the prepared beetroot juice into glasses and keep them in the fridge for a while to develop the refreshing taste.
