While aloo, paneer, and gobi are the popular choices for stuffed parathas, you must try the carrot paratha recipe before this winter season culminates. It is a unique twist to North India’s favourite parathas.
2 grated carrot Salt to taste ¼ tsp black pepper 1 chopped green chilli 1 cup flour Water as needed 2 tbsp coriander leaves ½ tsp coriander ⅛ tsp garam masala ¼ tsp mango powder
Add a pinch of salt to the atta and knead a soft dough using water. Let it rest.
Wash and peel carrots. Grate them on a plate and sprinkle salt on them.
After 5 minutes, remove excess water and add spices and chopped chillies.
Combine the ingredients along with chopped coriander leaves.
Take a small dough ball and stuff it with grated carrot mixture. Roll it into a paratha.
Roast parathas on both sides and serve it with chutney.
