Stuffed Idli adds a delicious twist to the regular idlis with flavourful stuffing inside the idlis. Click here to see the recipe.
For Idli Batter: 2 cups idli batter For the Filling: 2 boiled and mashed potatoes 1/4 cup boiled green peas 1 finely chopped onion 1 finely chopped green chilli 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 1/2 tsp garam masala powder 1/2 tsp mustard seeds A sprig of curry leaves 1 tbsp oil Salt to taste
Heat oil and saute mustard seeds, onions, green chillies, and curry leaves in it.
Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, mashed potatoes, boiled peas, mix it well and let it cool.
Pour 1 tbsp idli batter into the greased moulds, add 1 tsp filling and cover it with more batter.
Steam for 10-12 minutes.
Serve!
