Weekends are all about taking a break from the routine with some indulgent food. If you’re in the mood for baking and have a craving for something sweet, bake this rich chocolate fudge cake at home.

Ingredients

Maida - 1.25 cups Cocoa powder - 0.75 cups Baking powder - 1.5 teaspoons Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon Powdered sugar - 0.75 cups Pinch of salt Water - 1 cup Sour cream - 1 cup Oil - 0.25 cups Eggs - 2 Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon Heavy cream - 1 cup Melted chocolate - 1 cup

Step 1

Take a large bowl and mix the dry ingredients like maida, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt.

Step 2

In another bowl, combine the wet ingredients like vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Step 3

Activate the baking soda by adding sour cream and hot water.

Step 4

Mix the dry and wet ingredients till you get a smooth mixture.

Step 5

Bake for about half an hour and let the cake cool.

Step 6

Prepare chocolate ganache with heavy creamy and melted chocolate.

Step 7

Decorate the cooled cake with ganache, and your indulgent cake will be ready.
