If you are fasting for Mahashivratri, don’t confine yourself to just fruits and raw vegetables. Made with sabudana and sama ke chawak, here is a quick upvas dosa recipe that you can make while fasting.
½ cup sabudana ½ cup Sama ke chawal 1 cup dahi Water, as needed Rock salt to taste Ghee for greasing
Rinse the sabudana in water. Wash and soak the Sama ke Chawal for 2-3 hours.
Grind them together into a smooth batter. Add a little water to make it consistent.
Transfer the batter to a mixing bowl. Add the curd, rock salt, and mix well.
Heat and grease a pan. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it in a circle.
Cook the dosa on both sides. Once crisp, enjoy it with your favourite chutney.
