No festive celebration is complete without desserts. This Eid al-Adha, prepare kimami sewai as a sweet conclusion to your festive dinner table.
1 cup vermicelli 2 tbsp ghee 4 cups of milk ½ cup sugar ½ tsp cardamom powder A pinch of saffron Chopped nuts, for garnish
In a pan, heat ghee and roast vermicelli until golden brown.
In a separate pan, heat the milk and bring it to a boil.
Add roasted vermicelli, sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron to the boiling milk.
Cook on low heat until the vermicelli is soft and the milk thickens.
Garnish with chopped nuts and serve warm or chilled. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
