Craving an egg sandwich? Here is a simple, healthy, and delicious recipe for a perfect breakfast, snack, or light meal, which will almost melt in your mouth after taking the first bite.
2 slices of bread 2 large eggs 1 tbsp mayonnaise 1 tsp mustard 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1 tbsp butter Optional additions: Lettuce, tomato slices, cheese, or avocado
Boil eggs in a saucepan, cook for 8-10 minutes for hard-boiled eggs, then cool the eggs in cold water, peel and chop finely.
In a bowl, mix the chopped eggs with mayonnaise, mustard, salt and black pepper.
Lightly butter the bread slices and toast them.
Spread the egg mixture evenly over a slice of bread, add toppings and cover it with a second slice of bread.
Serve the egg sandwich with ketchup
