Adding eggs to a dosa spread on a tawa is a recipe for making this South Indian staple healthier. With the addition of eggs, it becomes protein-rich, which is essential for many people following a diet to stay fit. Try this recipe.
3 cups idli dosa batter 2-3 eggs 1 chopped onion 1 grated carrot 2 tbsp coriander leaves Salt to taste ½ tsp pepper 1 chopped green chilli 1 tbsp oil
Heat a griddle until water droplets start dancing on it.
Spread dosa batter on it in a thin layer.
Beat eggs with salt, vegetables, and pepper.
When the base has begun cooking, pour a little amount of egg mix.
Spread the egg mixture. When it starts hardening, slowly remove the dosa from the surface and flip it.
Let the egg and vegetables cook a little before serving them with chutney.
