People will tell you that they love momo, but the flavour lies in momo chutney. The red-coloured spicy condiment served with the dumplings is one of the best recipes. It can be paired with other snacks. Here is how you can make it at home.
3-4 dry red chillies ¼ tsp peppercorn 145 gms of tomatoes 1 tsp chopped garlic Salt to taste 3 cups water ½ tsp sugar 1 Sichuan pepper
Rinse tomatoes and break red chillies. Boil the ingredients.
Let tomatoes and chillies cool off before blending them.
Add garlic and Sichuan pepper to the blend and grind everything into a smooth paste.
Add sugar, salt, and pepper to the chutney.
Stir the blend and taste it.
Adjust the salt and enjoy it with rice, chips, nachos, sandwiches, and dumplings.
