Kabuli chana is rich in protein and considered a healthy option to kickstart your day. If you haven’t tried this recipe, you are missing out on an easy dish that you can easily prepare in the morning.
2 cups soaked kabuli chana 1 boiled potato 1 tsp ghee, cumin powder 2 tsp tamarind pulp 1-inch ginger 2 green chillies 1 cup mint, coriander leaves Water, salt as needed 1 tbsp oil 1 onion, tomato ½ tsp red chilli powder, pepper 1 tbsp lemon juice
Add water, soaked kabuli chana, and salt to the pressure cooker. Cook for 4-5 whistles.
Heat oil in a pan and roast potatoes until they are slightly brown and crispy.
Add cumin powder, tamarind, mint, coriander, green chillies, ginger, and salt to a grinder to make green chutney.
Again heat some oil in a pan, add green chutney, and a few powdered spices.
Add boiled kabuli chana and cook until each piece is coated with spices.
Toss it with onion, tomato, coriander leaves, lemon juice, and green chutney in a bowl. Serve and enjoy.
