Holi festivities feel incomplete without enjoying a mouthful of homemade mithais. But you do not always need to have detailed preparations. Here are some easy homemade sweets that will bring the flavours of festivities to your Holi spread.
In a pan, mix some grated coconut, condensed milk, and cardamom. Cook it briefly until the mixture reaches a thick consistency, then shape into ladoos and roll in coconut for a quick treat.
In a pan, roast some besan in ghee until it turns fragrant, mix in some powdered sugar and milk. Spread the mixture onto a plate, flatten it evenly, and cut the mixture into square shapes.
In a pan, mix some milk powder, condensed milk, and a little ghee. Cook until the mixture forms a dough and shape them into pedas, and flavour them with rose essence for a festive touch.
Melt some jaggery in a pan until it turns bubbly, mix in some chopped nuts and seeds, spread onto a greased plate, and cut into small square shapes.
Make a dough, stuff it with sweet khoya and nuts filling, fold into crescents, seal it carefully, deep-fry it until golden, and enjoy it as crisp, festive delights.
Whisk a smooth flour batter and milk it with cardamom. Pour small ladles of ghee into ghee, fry until lacy edges form, then dip shortly in sugar syrup.
