Easy Guacamole Recipe To Enjoy With Chips For A Quick Snack

The blandness of a perfectly ripe avocado is the ideal foundation for a flavour-packed guacamole, which can be enjoyed with chips, over tacos or toast and even stored as a condiment to enjoy later. A simple blend of ingredients delivers maximum flavour with minimal effort and absolutely no cooking involved.

INGREDIENTS

2 ripe avocados 1 large onion, chopped 1 large tomato, chopped ¼ cup freshly chopped coriander Juice of 1 lemon 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 jalapeno, chopped 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes Salt and pepper, to taste

STEP 1

Scoop out the pulp from the avocado using a spoon and add it to a large mixing bowl.

STEP 2

Tip in the chopped onion, tomato, jalapeno and minced garlic before using a fork to mash the mixture.

STEP 3

Ensure that some chunks of the avocado remain intact while mostly having a homogenous blend.

STEP 4

Season the avocado mash with lemon juice, chilli flakes, salt and pepper to taste.

STEP 5

Add the freshly chopped coriander and mix well before serving with chips or refrigerating for upto two days.
